I urge you to join me in voting for Andres Castillo for the Bedford town board.

I have had the opportunity to work with Andres as a co-board member of the Westchester Youth Alliance, and I have seen first-hand how much attention, care and smart thinking he devotes to all that he does, putting his thoughtful mind to work for all others.

Andres grew up in the Bedford community, attending Bedford schools and graduating from Fox Lane High School. He has first-hand knowledge of what the diverse youth in our community need and want and will represent that on the town board.

When he left Bedford to attend Princeton, he never forgot his background and family, hard at work in their taxi business back home. Andres knows about what it takes to run a small business and will represent that interest on the town board.

Returning to Bedford after college, Andres has applied his public health background to his work at Open Door where he sees what it’s like to face the pandemic with limited health care resources. As we emerge from the pandemic, Andres will be able to advance the conversation around public health and represent that interest on the town board.

Our community needs Andres and his deep Bedford roots, small business perspective and public health experience to lead us in Bedford’s future for our economic prosperity and health recovery.

Please give Andres Castillo your vote on Nov. 2.
