“Every Single Student” is a grassroots advocacy group supporting historically underserved communities and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives in the Bedford Central School District.
As a resource for community members who support public school policies and procedures, our engagement ensures the fundamentals of our democracy and that all students and educators feel safe, seen, and heard.
We are here to remind the community that on May 16 there will be a budget vote and school board trustee election. There are two open seats for the Board of Education. This is one of the most important ways to serve the community. We look forward to supporting candidates who share our values.
For those new to the district, please note that in a school board election, you cast your ballot at the elementary school in your specific attendance zone. You need not have children enrolled in BCSD schools to vote.
One must be registered in order to vote in a school board election. To register, one may go in person to their designated elementary school or the district clerk, Sandra Speyer, at the administration building located at 632 South Bedford Road, Bedford, during school hours. The last day to register is Thursday, May 11.
