I am writing to encourage readers to vote for Stephanie McCaine for Bedford Town Board. I have had the pleasure of knowing Stephanie for more than a decade and I am so proud and excited to have the opportunity to vote for her this fall.

Stephanie is a problem-solver and strategic thinker, the type of person we need in leadership. I’ve had the honor of working with Stephanie in her roles as a nonprofit leader for the Westchester Youth Alliance and the Bedford Community Theater, but also in her professional capacity at the Harvey School. She is warm and engaging, but also has a serious work ethic. She is a gifted connector who is approachable and genuine, both extremely important qualities needed in our elected officials.

Because of my work as a college counselor, I know that for a decade as dean of admissions at Purchase College, Stephanie cultivated a deep well of experience evaluating trends and analyzing data, as well as strong supervisory skills and confidence instituting policy, all particularly valuable in government.

Stephanie’s leadership style is mindful and she is very deliberate in her actions and decision-making. She understands the value of people’s time and works diligently to set and accomplish goals.

In addition to being a lifetime Bedford resident and passionate community member, Stephanie brings to the table a unique combination of skills and abilities that we need in our leaders. Please join me and vote for Stephanie McCaine for our town board.
