Margaret (“Tommie”) K. Norton, a lifelong Lewisboro resident and former head bus dipsatcher for the Katonah-Lewisboro School District , died at her home Sept. 3. She was 87.

She was born June 14, 1933. She worked for Katonah-Lewisboro for 30 years, starting as a bus driver and working her way up to head dispatcher. 

She loved baseball and was a founding member of the 10-4’s recreational softball team along with her sister, Alice, said her family, who also described her as an avid Yankee fan.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Herbert; a daughter, Alma Georgalos; a son, Kevin, and other family members. She was predeceased by her parents, her two sisters, Alice Gay and Jean Messina, and her brother, Lloyd Banks.
